PerIoT'19 - Third International Workshop on Mobile and Pervasive Internet of Things - Welcome and Committees
Welcome Message from the General Chairs
Welcome to the third International IEEE Workshop on Mobile and Pervasive Internet of Things (PerIoT 2019) in Kyoto, Japan. The workshop will be held in conjunction with the 17th IEEE International Conference on Pervasive Computing and Communications (PerCom 2019).
In this year, we had a total of 14 submissions, from 6 different countries. Each paper has been peer-reviewed, with at least 3 reviews from members of the Technical Program Committee. We have accepted 8 papers for presentation and publication at the workshop with an acceptance rate of 57.1%. The accepted papers are covering a range of topics in the world of Internet of Things and we are looking forward to hearing the presentations in Kyoto from the authors who will be presenting their work on Monday March 11th, 2019 (Full day Workshop). We are also glad to announce that we have a keynote speaker "Dr. Hirozumi Yamaguchi" who will address "Distributed Machine Learning over Wireless Sensor Networks".
We would like to thank all the people who worked so hard to make this workshop a success. A special thanks to our Technical Program Committee who did a great job reviewing the paper in a timely and professional manner. Also, we wish to thank the PerCom 2019 Organizing Committee for their support for the third year. Last but not least, we would like to thank the authors for choosing to submit their publications to PerIoT 2019. Again, welcome to PerIoT 2019 and hope you all enjoy the technical program in Kyoto.
